EDHREC’s October 8 deep dive into The Mechanics of the Echoverse breaks down Reality Fracture now that the set is out in the wild, including its official mechanics and stranger one-offs. The centerpiece is Empower Jace, which creates a Jace planeswalker token and adds loyalty counters, with more than 30 cards built around that token. Because the token is not legendary, the article points to unusual possibilities for multiplying planeswalkers, though a counterless Jace has only a brief moment before state-based actions send it away. The result is a set where even mono-red can remove a creature and then draw, because apparently every color needed a little more Jace.
